I bought this book because I really liked the cover of it. It looked really interesting from the first time I saw it, and I wanted to buy a book written in English. I’m glad I chose this book because I enjoyed reading it and it was really entertaining.
The book is about a girl named Pippa Fitz-Amobi, who was traumatized by past cases and was stalked by a serial killer named the DT Killer – the Duct Tape Killer. The police unfortunately dismissed her, and she decided to take the matter into her own hands. She managed to kill the DT Killer and had to cover it up, creating evidence that she wasn’t the killer, but that a serial rapist she once posted a podcast about was. In the end, she had to break up with her boyfriend Ravi Singh and leave her hometown.
The book gave me more English words I have never seen before, so I learned something more, which I think is really good for me and my English skills.
Something I liked about the book was that it was well-written, and I liked the unexpected plot twists which kind of changed the whole story.
I didn’t like the fact that the main character – Pip – had to break up with her boyfriend near the end of the book. It was a really sad scene.
