This book is about a hockey player named Jamie, who falls in love with his old classmate from middle school, Pippa. Jamie is a successful guy following his dreams, while Pippa is in a tough spot and needs money, so she starts working as Jamie’s assistant. He is happy to see her, but she becomes quite a distraction; he finds it so hard to focus on hockey that he thinks firing her will bring things back to normal.
